This is a simpler solution so they can know most of the components they are using. It is a very good idea to know what is going inside your body instead of just using ready-made or dispersed inks with vague ingredients. The most popular way that tattoos artists use to mix their own inks is simple but it needs a lot of practicing to control the ingredients and know the exact amount of each of them. This should be done over a period of time and the tattoo artist should keep track of the amounts so he can find out which mixture was more successful.

The question remains, how safe are tattoo inks mixed by tattoo artists? How many have a sterile environment to do such work? How many are trained in techniques to avoid or remediate contamination? Are these toxic components are real health risk? How will they react in the body over a period of time?
